High Point Spring 2019 Post Market News
Going to High Point Market is always FUN! You know eye candy? Well ten times more eye sugar and high adrenaline for ‘all you can eat’… We are talking showroom after showroom, after showroom, after showroom full of beauty, color, new ideas, amazing products, great food and FUN! The catch is, as much good planning as possible, and a pair of shoes (or two, or three) that can hold the physical intensity of walking and standing until you drop.

You can think you saw a ton, and you quickly realize that you just started, and day after day there is more to come and more to visit. By the time you go home, you are saturated with home furnishings and probably you don’t want to see one more chair for a while unless it is the one that you are finally sitting on.
But it is all worth it and beyond. So I thought I must share with you things that stood out and got me salivating and wanting to go home and start creating more beautiful projects!
INTENSE, REALISTIC, LARGE SCALE FLORALS

LUSCIOUS VELVETS

WALLPAPER AND MURALS
Wallpaper and Murals have taken over the walls at this market. Designers were not shy with massive patterns, but many were soft and lovely adding a great texture to the wall. Pictures from Bernhardt showroom, MadeGoods, Hooker Furniture, and Mrs. Howard.
CHINOISERIE PATTERNS
Chinoiserie, the 18th Century classic pattern with the European interpretation of Chinese lifestyle, is a classic on textiles and wallpaper and this time came out with a fresh new look. Massoud, CR Laine, Taylor King.
